Liberty Cu Nails

The Liberty Carrera Race Cu Long features a slight, extra neck; fitting more securely in the punching, with a slim shank and only a minimal amount of head above the shoe surface. Three sizes available: Small (4), Medium (4.5) and Long (5). Medium size works well with the Kerckhaert Pride series, Aluminum Triumph or Century Series.

This technology provides more protection than traditional horseshoe nails. Hoof wall, white line and sole are stronger and healthier when Liberty Cu nails are used on a daily basis. The 4 Combo Slim is the latest addition to the Liberty Combo Slim range. This nail is a great option for 5/16" shoes in smaller sizes (000, 00, 0) where the hoof doesn't need the length of the 5 Combo Slim or a 5 City but requires a head to fit the same crease. The head is only slightly smaller than the 5 Combo Slim and the nail length of 48.5 mm is between a 5 Race and 5 City.

The Liberty Cu 5 Slim XL nails are especially helpful when using a pad or a thicker shoe punched for a Slim or Combo head. Slim blade nails are used primarily for riding horses. The slimmer blade is preferred by many farriers because it displaces less hoof and reduces damage to the wall. The head sizes are often the same as their City head counterpart because they are being used in the same shoes.
